Own Recording Studio

I just noticed that one of my mutual friend's ex-boyfriend owned a studio. He actually open his own studio and help people to record songs. According to him, he had the studio fully equipped with all the instrument and the high technology accessories but I am not sure if he have the same thing as the one like cme wireless midi at Musicians friend. Going to check out with him soon as I have a contact that wanted to know more on this. If I can make the deal go through I might be able to get myself a new smart phone for my coming birthday.
