Just received these photos in my email. Claimed that this tornado was spotted in Penang. Penang kia..betul ke ada tornado di sana?

Its such a beautiful thing to see, but yet so dangerous..

look like its going to suck the things underneath...I wonder why so many people can actually stand there and watch. They should have find a place to hide them self..guess Malaysian is still having the Jakuness in them..You can see so many people actually just stand there or even find a nice VIP seat to watch the tornado.. -____-"

It's a water spout, It doesnt pose any danger to those standing by the coast. Sometimes you can see 2-3 water spouts at the same time.
Tornado only occurs on land. =) Nice pics by the way.

Whoa, never know water sprout exists in Penang. Usually, it only happens in Sabah. Incredible!
Water sprouts occurs here and there in Sg as well.... e.g. at Sentosa
Penang oso got Tornado. Like that, I come Penang see. :)
I am a 'kiasi' type, if i see that sure i will run fast fast.....
