This is one of my favourite cartoon when I was small. It should be at least 20 years ago where then we call anime as cartoon as there is no such word as ANIME.
Dr Slump or in Cantonese I called it as IQ Bok si (Professor IQ)is actually a japanese Manga series and authored by Akira Toriyama and was first published in year 1980.
